I Wish Summer Would Run Out Of Resources

Summer is spending itself at an alarming rate, as if it were running out of hot and using up its heat allotment like the sun was going out of style.  I’ll be glad when it decides to trot out its fall line and stow away these summer outfits.

I AM SO MAD AT YOU!!!

We are all mad at each other.  I have never known a time like this.  What stake do you have in this game?  What do you hope to accomplish?  What is your end game?  We win; they loose?  We’re right; they’re wrong?

Ask yourself this question; if my neighborhood were an example of America would I still be as mad?  Would I really want half my neighborhood to loose, to shut up, to be wrong?  If that happened would it still be a “neighborhood?”

Then if half of us get our way will America still be America?

I am convinced that there is a great dividing taking place and that politics and popular media are all on the wrong side.

Strictly Love

It is startling to consider that Gods strictest command is for us to love Him.  Because in that one commitment we are miraculous changed in order to accomplish His second strictest command to love others.  There actually one in the same command as Christ understood fully by saying, “when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!”  We love God by loving others and when we love others we are loving God.

The greatest solution to every problem God or humans face is to love one another.  What will we do with This God that so kindly invented love?

HOPE

There is a cosmic battle going on for the lives of every human who has ever lived.  It is between the forces of God/good and the forces of Satan/evil.  The only way to know the seriousness of it is too draw close to God.  The other side longs only to make you believe it is all ignorant superstition.  Good puts all the hope in God, evil puts all the hope in you.

Holding Our Curiosity

In a man who had no heart or sympathies except for himself now finds an overwhelming care for the lest of society, a deep and abiding feeling of responsibility for them.  The care, though odd, does not hold his curiosity; it is the unaccountable change in his heart.  Nothing so moves him to worship than that one undeniable fact.
