Trees and The Everlasting God

Genesis 19-22

What happens when you encounter God?  How do you mark the event when He gives you a child, a grandchild, performs a miracle in your life or meets you along the way?

“And Abraham planted a tamarisk tree at Beersheba and there he called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God.” 21:33

We build altars and plant trees.  Just this past Sunday I held my granddaughter Reese by the hand and walked through the woods to show her, her tree, the tree we planted for God when she was born.

Is there not a gift you can give God?
