A Psalm

A Psalm
God is love.
It is His definition.

God You are so beyond our comprehension that normal words fail us.  However the word love is not a normal word.  Its definition continues to grow as we grow to embrace it.  I love my children but I have a greater definition, a more sincere superior love now that I have grand children.  I do not love my grand children more than I love my children; my love has been transformed. I can believe that love will always be this way, able to always increase not just in quantity but also in greater awareness of its quality.  Loves final culmination is God.

When I read this I realized that it is not my love that has been transformed but that it is I and in that transformation I have become aware of a greater quality of love that already existed.  God be praised because I now know more fully than before that it is God, not love or me that is being made more full in me.

A Snow Psalm

A Psalm

Blue Sky
White Snow
When You thought up color
Sky and Snow were proudly pleased

And sighed with joy at their great fortune.

Two Psalms

A Psalm
“Have you visited the storehouses of the snow…?”
God
“Yes in Jackson Tennessee and I sincerely thank You
For sharing with us.”
Lee

A Psalm of Praise
To be sung by lovers on snow days

When you have a warm lover and
When you own wool, wood, a fireplace and a match and
When God has shared a deep snow blanket in your forest

Living hymns will sing softly over your kingdom

Technology Is Good For Giggling or Plato's Cave

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight Oh Lord my Rock and my Redeemer.”

We have entertained ourselves to ignorance and no longer know how to live.  Every life should be filled with meditation.  Meditation leads us to ponder the wonders that surround us and that leads us to ask why does the world seem so wonderfully made.  This guides us to the most remarkable question of all, is there a God, and all else’s hinges on the answer to that question.  It is ironic that we have turned over such a critical question to those least suited to answer it for us while we blindly giggle our self into eternity.

Meditations
The greatest theme of scripture is, “God loves us.”

Is it logical to assign chance as the only factor to explain the current state of the complexity of the universe?

Plato's cave can enlighten us to an awareness of opportunities to praise God

The Great Distortion

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight Oh Lord my Rock and my Redeemer.”

The verse teaches us a great lesson, God is watching!  However the world would distort this to have us believe that He is watching to catch our every mistake.  However the opposite it true.  He is watching us as a father watches a small child to teach him when he is most teachable, to praise him when he does well and to protect him when he is in harms way.

Much of the distortion of the gospel by the world is really the world trying to explaining Christianity by observing its followers.  Can the story of Jesus be told by observing my life?
