This is true. We can
control our minds even though at times it takes a valiant effort. When left out
of control our minds can slip into all forms of deviousness. God has gifted us with the ability to control
our minds. At times that is all we can
do. All our conscious efforts are spent
making our minds do, think and allow us to be what we desire and what pleases
God. A mind left to its own devices can
linger into many a bad thing. So be on
your guard. Guard your heart and your
mind. It makes me think of the verse, “We
are Christ’s Ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled
to God.” Sometimes we are ambassadors to
ourselves forcefully reminding our mind, “BE RECONCILED TO GOD!”
