I read, "The Leap of Faith and Mother Kirk" by C.S. Lewis this
morning, from his book "The Business of Heaven." Very powerful.
God is held in our hearts and souls by our minds not our imaginations.
It is a willing ascension of ourselves, of all of ourselves, to the assured
belief that there is a Profound Love that reigns in goodness over every cell
and cosmos. That Profound Love
must have a Being, a specific Personhood, because that Love is not benevolence. It is as far removed from that as
apathy is. No, The Profound Love
is the meaning of Devine and allows all Fairy Tales to take root in our souls
because our physicality is indeed, to dull to contain it. For to be sure, this personal Fairy
Tale of Christ, His Blood and our atonement, is more so reality than every
waking moment our minds construct.
